After all, the idea of BitCoin wasn’t another PayPal. If it was, the creator wouldn’t vanish but stick around to cash in.
They will fail to tame BTC, it is open source, if they start centralizing it the community will fork off their own version and the original BTC will just collapse. Besides, these bozos can go and lobby Washington all they want, the free man on the Internet will do whatever the hell he pleases, not just in America but all around the world where Washington doesn’t matter one split dime.
And then we also have many other virtual currencies out there on the Internet.
Next thing is developing a reliable open-source peer-to-peer exchange with encryption (maybe over Tor) so there’s no central location to shut down and the banksters can never get a hold of it again. There’s a huge demand out there for privacy, the drug market is $500 billion every year and growing and this is too much money to be left to the banksters gangsters to have control over.
Look, the bottom line is, the genie is ouf of the bottle, the cat is out of the bag and they will fail. It’ll be fun to watch. It was fun to watch RIAA and MPAA, now comes a many times bigger fight: banksters and government-run drug trafficing.
