Gold Standard and Sound Money

About

Often the DGC blog and magazine present a very different point of view. To all readers, don’t get confused, we love America. Our sometimes contrasting point of view is not un-American or anti-government. We speak up, call for change and highlight hidden problems with the American system.  In America, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Those who sit quietly and remain idol will not be graciously served by their elected leaders. Their vote and ideas will be forgotten.  Politely, legally and ethically…make your voice heard. Be a part of our sound money movement around the world.

For those people who have only known bank accounts and credit cards, an Internet digital currency account might seem as strange as powering the family car with bio-fuel made from sugarcane. These comfortable U.S. credit card holders ask, “why would we want to use sugarcane when I can just go down the street to the Exxon or Shell station and fill up with premium?”

But outside the U.S. millions of people each day conduct online personal and business dealing using non-bank digital currency payments. Tens of millions of online users do not have a credit card and survive each day using non-bank online systems.

* 92% of all new cars and light vehicles sold in Brazil during 2009 run on flex-fuel derived from sugarcane. By March 2010, the cumulative production of flex-fuel cars and light commercial vehicles that operate on fuel made from sugarcane reached the milestone of 10 million vehicles

DGC Magazine is committed to expanding the legal use of digital gold currency around the world. Slowly, legally and ethically we are trying to move digital gold currency forward into everyday business.

Now entering 2011, we are encouraged to see many people and organizations across the United States discussing sound money. There are at least 10 states now with pending sound money legislation.

More and more people echoing Steve Forester by saying, “Using Gold As Money: Just Do It!”
