Is E-gold Finally Bailing Out Bars For Agents?

Craig Spencer announced on the gold.silver.crypto email list that 16 bars have gone missing from the e-gold stats and were presumably bailed out for cash money.

The e-gold bar count has changed by -16 bar(s) to 178 bars. [Since there are both kilogram and 400oz LBMA bars in e-gold's inventory the actual total weight (2.22 Mg or 71375 oz) has been accounted for in terms of the equivalent number of nominal bars of exactly 400oz weight.]
